Rabat - Morocco’s Head of Government, Abdelillah Benkirane, will represent King Mohammed VI at the fourth summit of heads of state of Arab and South American countries scheduled for November 10 in Riyadh, according to le 360 website. The meeting will be chaired by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, according to Le360 news website.
“Benkirane will represent the King in this summit, which will address reinforcing partnerships between the two blocks in different fields,” the same source underlined.
Terrorism and the Arab-Israeli conflict are among the topics to be debated at this summit. A meeting of foreign affairs ministers of Arab countries and their counterparts from South America is scheduled for Monday to prepare for this important summit of heads of state.
Mbarka Bouaida, Minister Delegate of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will represent Morocco in the council of ministers.
At the margin of this summit, a council of ministers representing the Arab nations will also be held to discuss current affairs plaguing the region.
“The Arab league’s council of ministers will address the constant violations of the Israeli occupying authorities against the Palestinian people” the same source highlighted.
