Rabat - King Mohammed VI launched on Tuesday in Al Fath neighborhood in Rabat, food support operation "Ramadan 1437", organized by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Initiated with the support of the Ministries of Interior and of the Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the operation, which is in its 17th edition, is an important annual render-vous to provide aid and comfort to the most vulnerable social categories, including widows, the elderly and those with special needs.
The "Ramadan 1437" operation, which is worth 56 million dirhams, will benefit nearly 2.4 million people in 473,900 households, 403,000 of which live in rural areas, throughout Morocco's various regions.
