By Asmaa Bahadi

Rabat - Under the theme “Tutoring Young Moroccans Residing Abroad,” the Ministry of Moroccans Residing Abroad and Migration Affairs is organizing a meeting to be held on Monday, February 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses in Rabat.

Around twenty Moroccan associations in Europe who work in the field of academic tutoring will attend the meeting.

The Ministry will present the results of a study conducted on school performance of Moroccan children residing in foreign countries.

Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRA) associations aim to create cultural, religious, and sporting activities for the benefit of Moroccans living abroad, as well as strengthening local development projects and solidarity in Morocco.

Furthermore, these associations show the sincere desire to contribute to the realization of Morocco's strategic projects for its citizens living abroad.

The goals set for this meeting are mainly about MRA students:

1.  Open discussion on the role of associations in supporting MRA students;

2.  Setting the main requirements to secure the launch of an accompanying action plan for MRA students; and

3.  Open discussion on project suggestion (feedback, project improvement, etc.).
