Rabat - The United Arab Emirates announced on Wednesday the names of the ministers appointed in the new cabinet, including five female ministers.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, announced the appointments to the 12th Cabinet on Wednesday in a series of twitter posts.
Most of the new ministers are young with. The youngest is 22-year old Shamma Al Mazrui, the new Minister of State for Youth Affairs who will also preside over the Youth National Council.
According to the UAE media, the announcements came after consultations with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the approval of the President, Sheikh Khalifa.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid revealed the latest cabinet line-up of 29 ministers in a recent twitter post, saying that “This is the team which will achieve our nation’s aspirations.”

“The new Cabinet focuses on the future, youth, happiness, developing education and combating climate change,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said.
The five new women appointed in the new cabinet are:
